What you need
- Card
- Colouring pens
- Elastic or a stick
- Scissors
What you do
- Choose your animal and look at a photo of their face.
- Draw the shape big on card — remember where their eyes actually sit.
- Colour it in and cut it out (grown-up helps with scissors).
- Attach elastic or tape it to a stick.
- Act out how your animal moves and sounds.
What's really happening
Where an animal's eyes sit tells you a lot: eyes at the side mean watching for danger; eyes at the front mean hunting or climbing.
